About the campaign
What is Trendy Red?
As part of the activities surrounding Heart Month, Trendy Red is a fundraising campaign built around the day of love and friendship: Valentine's Day and Heart Month.
Who can participate in the campaign?
This campaign targets all employees and members of organizations across Québec.
How does the campaign work?
February 14th, 2011*, participants are invited to proudly wear red in exchange of a $5 donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Québec.
Three easy steps:
- Participants make a donation online or directly to the person in charge in the organization
- Participants ask the person in charge within the organization for a draw coupon to fill out as well as a paper heart to participate in the creation of a Mosaic of Hearts.
- Participants proudly wear red on the Trendy Red day
Also:
- Participants can win one of our prizes. More 5$ donations made, more chances to win (1 draw coupon per $5 donation).
- The Foundation invites organizations to send their Trendy Red team pictures. The organization considered most original will win a health related prize by the Foundation
*The organization could designate another day to hold the event.

It is a simple, easy, friendly and team-building campaign
Requires very little time for the person in charge within the organization (any member of your organization can play this role)
Requires no financial contribution from your organization**
Accessible to all, given the low cost to participate ($ 5)
** Corporate matches are however greatly appreciated.
